ASD - Cloud Security Assessor - TS Cloud

Cleared Recruitment are working exclusively with the ASD to hire for a Cloud Security Assessor within TS Cloud.

We are seeking an experienced Security Assessor to plan, conduct and deliver high-assurance security assessments for the TS Cloud, CSP Service and Community Services solution. You will produce artefacts to inform business risk acceptance and authorisation decisions, maintain awareness of emerging cloud technologies, and engage with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and deliver security assessments of TS Cloud, CSP Service and Community Services components to a high standard of assurance
• Produce artefacts to support business risk acceptance and solution authorisation
• Maintain awareness of contemporary and emerging cloud technologies, offerings, and their security strengths and limitations
• Engage with governance bodies, security authorities, NIC and Cloud Service Provider stakeholders during assessment and assurance activities
• Resolve complex problems using expertise and initiative, identifying alternative courses of action
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing and enhancing procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure shared understanding of security objectives
• Build and maintain effective working relationships within established working groups, actively participating in team activities
• Facilitate work package planning and execution to support project delivery and reduce scope risk
• Adapt to changing priorities and respond promptly to evolving requirements

Education/Certifications Required

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or related discipline - Desirable
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSK or equivalent - Highly regarded

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience in security assessment and assurance in complex ICT environments
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, frameworks and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with governance and risk management processes in secure government environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to produce high-quality technical and risk documentation
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams
