Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking multiple Cloud Cyber Security Engineers and Architects to join a high?performing team delivering secure, scalable and compliant Microsoft cloud solutions. These roles will work across Azure, M365 and Microsoft security technologies, supporting government and Defence projects. Positions are available at mid to senior levels, with flexibility across permanent and contract engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure, M365, Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender suite, Purview)
• Conduct security assessments, risk analysis and compliance reviews aligned to government frameworks
• Collaborate with clients, Microsoft and internal teams to deliver high?assurance solutions
• Provide technical expertise in cloud security engineering and architecture
• Contribute to advisory engagements, offering guidance on best practice and emerging technologies
• Maintain awareness of evolving Microsoft security capabilities and industry standards
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the consultancy

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Up to 10 years' experience in cloud security engineering or architecture roles
• Strong expertise in Microsoft security technologies (Azure, M365, Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender suite, Purview)
• Experience working in secure government or Defence environments - highly desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a consultancy/professional services environment

Certifications Required / Highly Regarded

• Microsoft SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) - Highly regarded
• AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate)
• SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator)
• MS-500 (Security Administrator)
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor - Advantageous
