Electrical Engineer

About the role
We are seeking applications for a full time Electrical Engineer based in Bibra Lake.
We're looking for a passionate technically minded professional who has an eye for detail and works diligently to ensure the quality of critical equipment. Training is provided for employees on the technical requirements for the maintenance and integration of electrical systems for submarine escape and rescue support.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong electrical aptitude
• Willingness to learn a broad range of skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Computer literate - basic knowledge of MS Office suite
• Ability to gain security access to Australian Defence establishments, hold a police clearance and gain required security clearance.
• Experience with medical devices, electrical systems, breathing apparatus, aviation, or marine safety equipment (desirable)

Duties

• Provides engineering support to projects, responsible as the project engineer for the delivery of all technical deliverables to the Project Manager.
• Support the Maintenance Superintendent by providing onsite engineering services for maintenance requirements.
• Delivery & upkeep of the engineering dashboards and registers to the Engineering Lead, including Engineering Manager.
• Support to deliver bids and enquiries with Australian engineering content, supporting and attending client stakeholder meetings as required.
• Actively engages with the relevant technical authorities, ensures compliance for both engineering changes and / or concessions is progressed through the technical approval delegation framework.
• Functionally accountable to the Engineering Manager in accordance with the Engineering Framework and follows all standards, requirements and procedure

• Must have Australian Citizenship to apply and have current or reinstatable security clearance
• Must have minimum 3-5 years' Electrical Engineering experience within Defence industry or offshore sectors.
