Job Description


The ICAM Engineering Lead will provide end-to-end architecture leadership and delivery oversight across enterprise identity, access management, and credential platforms. The role is responsible for setting technical direction, maintaining solution integrity, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes across multiple ICAM capabilities and teams. You will work closely with client stakeholders, platform owners, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and meet business and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own ICAM architecture and delivery outcomes across identity governance, authentication, authorisation, privileged access, and cryptographic services
  • Define and govern the target state ICAM architecture, including integration patterns and alignment across platforms
  • Act as the primary client-facing technical authority for ICAM, supporting workshops, design decisions, and senior stakeholder discussions
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance across identity governance and lifecycle management, authentication and access management, privileged access and secrets management, and policy-based authorisation
  • Ensure consistency, security, and quality across all ICAM implementations
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and cross-stream impacts
  • Support delivery planning, sequencing, and prioritisation across multiple ICAM initiatives
  • Contribute to governance artefacts, architectural documentation, and delivery assurance activities

Knowledge/Skills required

  • 10+ years' experience in identity, access management, or security architecture roles
  • Proven experience leading large-scale ICAM programs or portfolios
  • Strong experience across multiple IAM disciplines, including identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, and authorisation
  • Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders
  • Sound architectural judgement combined with pragmatic delivery experience
