Job Description


This is an entry-level infrastructure role with real depth.
You'll support the design, build, and ongoing operation of network environments across secure systems. It's hands-on from day one, with the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and step into more complex work over time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and deploying new network environments
  • Maintain and support existing LAN and WAN infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot network issues under guidance
  • Monitor system performance and flag improvements
  • Install and configure hardware, software, and network components
  • Follow standard procedures for system installation, testing, and documentation
  • Support system upgrades, maintenance, and operational tasks

Education / Certifications required

  • Relevant qualification in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge / Skills required


Core capability (SFIA Level 3 equivalent):

  • Infrastructure support: build, configure, maintain, and monitor systems
  • Exposure to network environments (LAN/WAN)
  • Structured troubleshooting and fault resolution
  • Familiarity with installation, removal, and testing of systems
  • Basic scripting or automation (desirable, not essential)


Experience:

  • Around 1-3 years in network, systems, or infrastructure support
  • Comfortable working in controlled, process-driven environments
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
