Job Description
We are seeking two experienced Lead Penetration Testers to join a highly skilled cyber security team delivering advanced security assessments across complex ICT environments.

In this role, you will conduct penetration testing activities across applications, infrastructure and gateway environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending effective remediation strategies. You will work within a technically mature environment and contribute to the protection of critical systems through the delivery of high-quality testing, reporting and security assurance services.

This opportunity is suited to senior cyber security professionals with extensive penetration testing experience and the ability to lead complex engagements with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing of ICT applications, systems and gateway infrastructure.
• Perform simulated attack exercises and security assessments across complex environments.
• Utilise a range of commercial and bespoke penetration testing tools, frameworks and methodologies.
• Develop penetration testing plans, procedures and engagement activities.
• Document testing approaches, methodologies, findings and outcomes.
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical reports detailing vulnerabilities and remediation recommendations.
• Provide expert advice on security weaknesses and technical risk mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement of security testing practices and capabilities.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to address identified vulnerabilities.

Education/Certifications Required
One or more of the following certifications, or equivalent:

• CREST Certified Tester (Infrastructure or Web Applications)
• CHECK Team Leader
• Relevant industry-recognised penetration testing certifications

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience conducting penetration testing across enterprise ICT environments.
• Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies, frameworks and tools.
• Experience leading complex penetration testing activities with limited supervision.
• Ability to perform simulated attack exercises and advanced security assessments.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to a range of stakeholders.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and developing remediation recommendations.
