Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical

We currently have a position for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong electrical knowledge to join an industry leader on a full time basis. In this role you will support the fast passed manufacturing and testing of Launch Vehicle and satellite hardware being developed to enhance Defence capabilities.

In this role you will be responsible for the development and optimisation of electrical, battery, avionic, harness and other electrical systems manufacturing and production activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands on engineering and liaison between design and manufacturing teams
• Responsible for the manufacturability of electrical and avionic sub-systems
• Contribute to design reviews
• Manufacturing tooling design and validation
• Prepare engineering documentation
• Update designs in response to manufacturing issues
• Continuous improvement activities

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong hands on experience in production and manufacturing
• Firm understanding of electrical systems design
• A proven track record working within safety critical environments
• Experience working with electrical and avionic systems
• NV1 security clearance

Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
