Clearance Required
Current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance required. Candidates must also be eligible to complete the ASD Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement.

Job Description
We are seeking four experienced Infrastructure Engineers with strong network administration capability to support the implementation, sustainment and optimisation of infrastructure environments across physical, virtual, network and cloud platforms.
You will contribute across the full infrastructure lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimisation and retirement of systems while ensuring operational performance, resilience and security requirements are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor infrastructure environments and respond to sustainment requests, incidents and technical issues.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution activities to maintain service availability and operational performance.
- Maintain and upgrade device software and firmware across infrastructure environments.
- Build scalable, reliable and testable infrastructure solutions aligned to approved design standards.
- Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) networking hardware and software to optimise performance and functionality.
- Deliver infrastructure lifecycle activities including build, configuration, administration, maintenance and decommissioning.
- Execute physical infrastructure activities including racking, stacking, cabling and labelling.
- Support infrastructure automation, provisioning and deployment activities.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing and recovery procedures.
- Support infrastructure maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate operational issues and contribute recommendations to improve infrastructure capability and service delivery.
Education / Certifications Required
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Industry certifications across infrastructure, networking or systems administration highly regarded.
Knowledge / Skills Required
Applicants should demonstrate experience aligned to the following SFIA capabilities:
Availability Management - Level 4
- Supporting availability, reliability, maintainability and service continuity requirements.
- Contributing to disaster recovery planning and recovery testing activities.
IT Infrastructure - Level 4
- Applying infrastructure operational procedures and maintenance practices.
- Managing infrastructure updates and lifecycle activities.
- Using infrastructure management and monitoring tools.
- Automating provisioning, testing and deployment activities through scripting and tooling.
Problem Management - Level 3
- Investigating issues across systems and services and contributing to preventative measures.
Systems Installation and Removal - Level 4
- Delivering complex installations and de-installations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Additional requirements:
- Current TSPV security clearance (mandatory).
- Vendor must hold current Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership.
- Experience working in Defence, Intelligence or secure government environments highly desirable.
