Sales Consultant - Defence & Government - Excellent Commissions

Established 25 years + and representing a stable of well renowned vendors of mission-critical Test & Measurement Equipment, has ensured long standing relationships with customers in a variety of technical industries such as Telco, Utilities, Defence, Research & Development, and Universities.

The majority of employees have been there 10 years + proving that culture is a main driver for this company.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Developing strong client relationships, discussing applications and creating a pipeline
  • Dealing with a variety of stakeholders within Defence & Government
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of test and measurement solutions
  • Analyse customer structure, plan and strategically develop plans for success
  • Building and maintaining influential networks within customer community
  • Attend relevant events, exhibitions and conferences

Experience required

  • Customer facing experience in related roles discussing technical applications
  • Contributed to proposals, tenders, bids or proposals
  • Ideally time spent within military or government organisation
  • Knowledge of defence and/or government procurement
