Job details

DevOps Engineers work closely with development teams to provide (and support) the environment needed to deliver the organisation's services quickly and efficiently, using automation and self-service. The AEC is seeking to engage a candidate at APS 6 experience level.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Work effectively with the technical teams such as the development teams and DevOps teams,
  • Establish and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and artefacts.
  • Ensuring that cloud platforms are current in their toolsets, resilient, secure and automated wherever possible.
  • In collaboration with other teams in the work area, investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of an application
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided
  • Assisting with cloud first deployment pipeline development
  • Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as directed from time to time.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.
  • Creating and overseeing processes that manage the delivery pipeline from development through to production.
  • Working with project and operational teams to orchestrate delivery pipelines across design, build, test, deploy and run.
  • Implementing continuous improvements, strategy, and best practice development in the CI/CD environment.
  • Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as required

Criteria

    Pages 3 - 5 - A resume of no more than three pages. We will strictly adhere to the above requirements. Submissions will be deemed non-compliant if they do not meet the listed criteria, if they exceed the 5-page limit or if the rates of submitted candidates are included in the PDF.
