Cleared recruitment is supporting a Federal government department and is on the lookout for a dynamic professional to join our CTO Change Program and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Data Management & Analysis Platform (DMAP)!

What We Need:

🔧 Key Skills and Experience:

Linux Mastery: Expertise in Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar distributions.

Containerization Guru: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

Automation Pro: Hands-on experience with Ansible.

Virtualization Specialist: Skilled in VMware and vSphere.

Storage Savvy: Knowledge of NAS, JBOD, VSAN, and RAID.

Backup Systems: Experience with VEEAM or similar tools.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork.

Security Clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1 or the ability to obtain one.

✨ Essential Qualities:

Proven track record in designing, deploying, and maintaining Linux systems.

Strong understanding of security best practices, including Essential 8 and the Information Security Manual.

Experience with collaboration tools like GitLab, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with network protocols.

🌟 Desirable Extras:

Centralized Logging Expertise (ElasticSearch, Splunk).

Cyber Security Knowledge (Australian Government Information Security Manual, Essential 8).

Proficiency with issue tracking and collaboration tools (Git, GitLab, ServiceNow).

Experience with code management, networking, monitoring systems, NoSQL and SQL databases, web servers, message queues/event streaming, workflow orchestration, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google).
