Job Description
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Support Engineer to join a high-performing technical support team. This role suits a skilled professional with a strong background in network security and customer engagement. You will provide advanced technical assistance, resolve complex issues, and ensure client satisfaction through expert guidance and support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level technical support for security products including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues
- Collaborate with internal escalation teams to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate case documentation and follow-up procedures
- Provide remote support and technical guidance to clients and partners
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and technical documentation
- Stay current with product developments and cybersecurity trends
Education/Certifications required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Industry certifications such as NSE, CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP (preferred)
Knowledge/Skills required
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity technologies
- Background working within telecommunications or security industry
- Good knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP protocols
- Experience working with firewalls, bonus if you have Fortinet experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade security solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems and service workflows
