Requirements
As the Cyber Engagement section's body of work increases, we are seeking eager Cyber Technical Analysts to join our high-performing and fast paced ICT cyber security team to work within our Digital Service Division Infrastructure space.
The applicant must have knowledge and experience in:
- Writing and presenting security documentation to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
- Experience in reviewing and providing cyber guidance on application, infrastructure and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Raising awareness of security issues with technical and non-technical departmental staff.
- Implementing Essential Eight in other Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- 5 years cyber technical advisory roles within government.
Skills and capability
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Has sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
- Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks.
- Ability to develop strong productive relationship, communication skills and issue resolution.
- Ability to articulate and document technical security artifacts.

Essential criteria
- At least 5 years' experience in a technical cyber advisory role within government.
- Must hold a current NV1 Clearance
- Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, in particular around technical assessment
