Electronic Technician

Are you an experienced Electronic Technician with a track record working in a Defence environment? We are currently seeking applications from experienced electronic technicians to join a dynamic team based in the northern suburbs of Sydney. In this role you will act as the subject matter expert for electronic maintenance and fault management. Applicants with experience working within Defence environments on safety critical systems are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge Maritime, Aerospace and Land systems developed to directly enhance Defence capability.

Role requirements:

• Strong electronic system aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and focus to detail
• Background in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance for Defence systems/equipment
• Ability to calibrate and maintain test equipment
• Ability to conducted detailed troubleshooting and fault finding
• Oversee maintenance documentation
• Conduct specialised electronic fault finding activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Cert III in electronics/electrical trade profession
• Proven track record in electronic maintenance and fault finding
• Experience working within a Defence environment
• Current NV1 security clearance

Applicants must be Australian Citizen's eligible for a Defence clearance and meet ITAR requirements.
