Locations: Sydney and South Coast, NSW

Some responsibilities may include:

• Develop and deliver engineering strategies
• Recruitment of future engineering support and team development
• Engineering Management overseeing technical development, team accountability and growth
• Planning, project layout and reporting to senior management on progress
• Quality assurance and product review
• Provide requirements analysis and management with the use of software management tools
• Drive engineering solutions utilising the Systems Engineering lifecycle approach
• Engage with key stakeholders and internal/external managers/directors for project outcomes and requirements management
• Create a clear and supportive reporting structure and ensure open communication exists
• Provide SME advice on Electronic Warfare (EW) capability and C4i operation

About You:
A seasoned leader with a strong attitude towards development and team building and a healthy want for challenge and growth.
Essential

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications or Systems Engineering (or related field)
• Chartered Professional Engineer status
• At least 10+ years engineering management or leadership within a safety critical systems field
• Demonstrated experience in efficient product design, and lifecycle management
• Proven capability in mentoring teams and managing performance
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex product related projects, where mechanical, electrical and software disciplines are involved from inception to delivery
• Australian Citizenship with a current or reinstatable Defence security clearance.

Desirable

• Deep understanding of the Defence Industry, particularly within the Electromagnetic Warfare sector
