We are working with a government and defence consultancy supporting a department within the federal government. These roles contribute to the secure delivery of Identity and Access Management capabilities across a complex cloud environment, enabling key ICT modernisation and transformation programs.

Job Description

The IDAM Engineer is responsible for delivering Identity Gateway design, configuration and integrations to support end-to-end Identity and Access Management capability. The role ensures the technical delivery of identity services within a federal government cloud environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, testers and project teams to uplift identity security and operational functionality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Configuration and customisation of the Identity Gateway tool.
• Integration of Identity Gateway with departmental source and consumer systems.
• Experience with DevOps build and release processes and automation scripts.
• Production of detailed design and as-built documentation.
• Development of end-to-end onboarding and offboarding functionality.
• Technical level testing of developed features and deliverables.
• Collaboration with the quality assurance team and remediation of identified bugs.
• Coordination with other projects for relevant IDAM technical activities.
• Configuration of outbound provisioning for dependent systems.

Knowledge/Skills required

• Demonstrated experience working with Identity and Access Management tools within major ICT modernisation projects or programs in a federal government setting.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and transformation activities.
