We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join their high-performing team, working on critical projects that demand reliability, security, and technical excellence.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud platforms and services. Responsibilities include:
- Developing, deploying, and managing Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Leveraging Azure DevOps to automate and enhance the software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Implementing and managing Azure Arc to extend cloud management capabilities across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Deploying and maintaining containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and high availability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-3 years' experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Azure PaaS/SaaS.
- Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and IaC practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Arc for hybrid/multi-cloud operations.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security principles.
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, applicants must be:
- Australian Citizens, and
- Hold an active NV1 security clearance, or
This ensures all team members can work confidently with protected information in a secure environment.
On-Call & Shift Expectations
This role sits within a managed services environment. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving applications and infrastructure for key clients. The position may require:
- Shift work to ensure 24/7 support coverage
- Participation in an on-call roster
- After-hours deployment or incident response activities
