Job Description:

As a Presales Architect, you will design and develop solutions that achieve customer business outcomes across the Compute portfolio and relevant third-party components. You will provide technical expertise, lead solution demonstrations, and work closely with sales teams to deliver tailored proposals that align with customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect Compute solutions that align with customer business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and internal sales teams.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations showcasing our client's value propositions.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including CxOs and business leaders, to drive solution adoption.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends and assess their impact on customer environments.
  • Lead deep-dive technical discussions to understand customer requirements and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop and execute solution strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Compute solutions, integration components, and market trends.
  • Support the development of sales pipelines by identifying and nurturing opportunities.


Education/Certifications Required:

  • Australian Government security clearance of at least NV1.
  • Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
  • Enterprise architecture and project management certifications are advantageous.


Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Compute solutions, including architecture design and solution configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT environments and adjacent technology domains.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and consultative sales skills.
  • Understanding of financial and business acumen, including TCO and ROI calculations.
  • Experience working in as-a-service (aaS) models and subscription-based solutions.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills to collaborate across internal and external teams.
