Production Manager Diving Systems

Do you have a proven background in maintenance and production? We are currently seeking applications for a Production Manager diving systems that will lead a team of diving, hyperbaric and production professionals delivering state-of-the-art diving and hyperbaric systems for the Royal Australian Navy.

Applicants with a background in diving systems either within a commercial or defence environment are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of production, hyperbaric and diving technicians
• Maintain key relationships with stakeholder both internally and externally
• Promote and lead a strong safety culture
• Continuously review and enhance service delivery processes
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
• Oversee maintenance and production of diving systems
• Manage the maintenance and repair of diving systems

Skills required

• Demonstrated experience in production management
• Proven experience with the maintenance of diving systems
• Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills
• Ability to coach and mentor
• Experience with Defence contracts is highly desirable
• Experience in diving (Defence, Recreational or Commercially) highly advantageous

Due to the nature of this role candidates will require to hold Australian citizenship and be eligible for an AGSVA clearance.
