Project Support Officer

Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a Canberra-based Management Consultancy that is actively seeking Project Support Officers to join their team supporting a number of key customers. These positions are based in Canberra starting ASAP!

About the Opportunity:

This role requires a minimum NV1 Security Clearance, and will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the successful execution of projects. You will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to facilitate communication, track progress, and manage project documentation. Your organisational skills and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative and coordination support to project leadership.
• Manage aspects of project work packages, and support development of work proposals.
• Support finance and resource management.
• Support document management and reporting.
• Coordinate various process improvement activities.
• Establish and grow relationships with existing and potential stakeholders.
• Ensure all project activities and deliverables meet federal standards and regulations, including those related to security, data protection, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting Federal Government projects
• Experience in a project support role
• Experience contributing to project artefacts and documentation
• Strong ability with financial and budgetary processes
• Exposure to Waterfall or Agile project delivery methods
• Experience with MS Project and ideally Jira.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
