Requirements

The Project Support Officer with procurement skills will be responsible under general direction for provision of procurement and related finance and logistic services that enable the efficient delivery of sustainment and deployment projects in Endpoint Services Section of Technology Services Branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Draft and review procurement documentation.
• Procure supplies and services for sustainment activities and projects, in accordance with Commonwealth procurement policies, procedures and rules (PGPA and CPRs) and Defence Procurement processes (DPM).
• Arrange travel and freight in support of sustainment and projects.
• Support budget management activities by maintaining commitment, expenditure and forecasting records and participating in budget development.
• Support stores management activities including preparation of equipment for shipping and management of consumables.
• Assist in the identification and location of ICT assets in support of the asset management activities.
• Manage priorities and workflows and schedule procurement activities to meet deadlines.
• Site liaison and stakeholder engagement, including with customers and suppliers, to ensure ICT procurement and delivery requirements are met.
• Transfer knowledge through production and update of relevant documentation, instructions or procedures. Guide and mentor other staff.
