Regional QHSE Manager APAC

Are you a subject matter expert in Quality and Health & Safety? Are you seeking a new interesting position that will not only allow you to work full time remote but travel to various sites in the APAC region? Then this is the role for you!

The successful candidate will be an Australian Citizen who holds a current Baseline/NV1 security clearance that has a proven track record with ISO9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. In this role you will lead a team of 10 QSHE staff to support the development of integrated EHS and quality management systems for a company that are a leader in their field. This role will require a large portion of travel as this role is 50% WFH and 50% travel to site.

Candidates with strong backgrounds in leadership, stakeholder management, quality management systems and health & safety are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the EHS point of contact
• Accountable representative for ISO9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
• Create and collate EHS and Quality key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Establish and maintain QHSE critical metrics
• Perform audits and inspections at all APAC sites at various intervals
• Training and/or coordination of training for staff
• Incident notification, investigation, reporting, and tracking of corrective actions to closure
• Manage ongoing communications with internal and external interested parties including account teams, internal management, and customers
• Maintain relationships with cross functional teams
• Travel up to 50%, including international

Prerequisites:

• In depth knowledge of Work Health and Safety Management Systems (WHSMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) across multiple sites
• Excellent knowledge of ISO9001, IS45001, ISO14001 standards
• Relevant certification and/or education in Quality, HSE and EMS
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead a remote work force
• Experience managing complex projects and audit programs
• Australian citizen with a current or reinstatable Baseline/NV1 clearance
