The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Consultant to support security and compliance initiatives within a dynamic project environment. This role is well suited to someone experienced in risk management, stakeholder engagement and the analytical assessment of security data. You will play a key role in maintaining security documentation, supporting IRAP related activities and ensuring the project's security posture meets all internal and client driven requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed security risk assessments, highlight vulnerabilities and maintain oversight of risks throughout the project environment.
• Manage and refine the suite of security documents, ensuring accuracy, currency and readiness for external or internal review.
• Produce regular updates and reports for project stakeholders, including insights into risk trends and key security metrics.
• Collaborate with a wide range of teams, including client cyber personnel, to support security and compliance obligations across the full project lifecycle.
• Review and interpret security data to identify trends, indicators and emerging issues, clearly communicating relevant insights to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated capability in recognising, evaluating and monitoring security risks within complex or multi?layered environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across both technical and business areas.
• Skilled in interpreting detailed security data and converting findings into practical, actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing, maintaining and updating security documentation within compliance frameworks, ideally including IRAP.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast paced project setting.
• Background or experience in National Security, International Relations or related fields is desirable.
• Proven experience in a security consulting or risk management role on large scale projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working within cross functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
