Cleared are supporting a Global information technology service and consulting company and are looking to speak with a Infrastructure Technician (Citrix)
The Infrastructure Technician will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with the integration of Citrix ICT infrastructure into Navy platforms.
- Setting up and configuring Citrix infrastructure by installing and configuring components and provisioning necessary resources.
- Ensuring the Citrix infrastructure remains healthy and performs optimally by applying patches, updates, and performing regular health checks.
- Maintaining and improving Citrix build and deployment automation scripts to enhance processes, adapt to changes, and resolve issues for efficient and reliable deployments.
- Monitoring user experience and performance metrics, setting up alerts to quickly identify and address anomalies or critical issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Creating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related materials.
- Collaborating with project team members and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality final product.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience working as an Infrastructure Technician in Defence.
- Solid background in designing and integrating Citrix ICT infrastructure with various platform operating systems.
- Extensive expertise and knowledge in:
- Citrix ADC (formerly Netscaler)
- Citrix Monitoring tools
- Nutanix AHV
- VMware VCF/ESXi/vSphere
- Machine Creation Services
- IGEL and UMS
- **PowerShell Scripting**
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Deep understanding of ITIL best practices and ISO Quality Standards.
- Extensive knowledge of implementing cybersecurity controls and practices in line with zero-trust architecture principles.
- Proficient in managing ADF-deployed environments/platforms, including their specific networking, support, and security challenges.
- Familiarity with and experience in the SEA2273 Minerva systems.
Desirable:
- Extensive understanding of ITIL best practices and ISO Quality Standards.
- In-depth expertise in implementing cybersecurity controls and practices consistent with zero-trust architecture principles.
- Proficient in managing ADF-deployed environments/platforms, including their specific networking, support, and security requirements.
- Experience and familiarity with SEA2273 Minerva systems.
