Senior Network Engineer

Cleared are currently supporting an Australian SME who are an award-winning specialist in digital security solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure communication systems and network solutions. This role involves working in classified environments, ensuring compliance with security policies, and diagnosing/resolving critical network issues.

** The candidate will also be part of the team providing escalated on-call duties as scheduled **

What You'll Bring:

• ✅ Extensive Cisco experience & certifications (CCNP/CCIE preferred)
  ✅ Relevant security & IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) - a degree is a plus
  ✅ Strong Linux skills (Windows & Mac experience also beneficial)
  ✅ Hands-on leadership - someone who thrives in the trenches with the team
  ✅ Ability to work independently - this role requires a strong, self-sufficient expert
  ✅ Defence sector experience highly desirable
