Senior Network Security Engineers - Australia (NV2 or TSPV Clearance Required)

We're looking for a Senior Network Security Engineers who thrive in high-stakes environments and want to make a real impact on Australia's federal government and defence projects. If you've got an AGSVA clearance, love solving complex network challenges and want to work with some of the biggest IT vendors and system integrators, this could be your next move.

What the Role Looks Like
You'll be hands-on with secure networks that keep critical systems running safely. Beyond firewalls and VPNs, you'll design, implement and maintain networks that protect sensitive information at every layer. You'll also work directly with customers, advising on their network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions that make a difference. Your input will directly shape how security is done in high-security environments.

What You'll Do

• Build, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructure across government and defence projects.
• Spot risks before they become problems-conduct vulnerability assessments, audits, and security reviews.
• Respond to network incidents quickly and effectively.
• Work with customers to troubleshoot, optimise, and advise on their network and security infrastructure.
• Advise teams on network security best practices and mentor more junior engineers.
• Collaborate with architects and integrators to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.

Who You Are

• Australian citizen with current or eligible AGSVA clearance.
• Experience on federal government or defence projects.
• Strong network security chops-firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, secure network design.
• Senior level experience or equivalent.
• Problem-solver, communicator, and team player who likes getting things done the right way.
