Cleared ICT are supporting a large government department who are looking to engage any software engineers with TSPV clearance only. This is a contracting opportunity based in Canberra or Sydney.
This position will be on-site.

This opportunity is open only to candidates who currently hold a TSPV clearance.

Role: Senior Software Developer

Role Location(s): Canberra, Sydney
Role Description:
As a Software Developer, you'll collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, embracing continuous feedback and iteration. You'll understand how technology, process, and business intersect to deliver valuable solutions - designing, building, and operating modern web applications that support critical business workflows in a tight-knit, supportive, and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design and build end-to-end solutions - developing and maintaining scalable web applications delivering clean, testable code.
• 
  Implement and evolve API layers using REST/GraphQL API development and secure gateway patterns.
• 
  Containerise and deploy services.
• 
  Ensure data integrity and performance.
• 
  Participate in Agile delivery and development processes.
• 
  Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

• 
  Tertiary qualifications in a technology field.

Required Knowledge / Experience:

• 
  3+ years' full stack C#/.NET and React/TypeScript development experience.
• 
  Proficiency with REST/GraphQL API development and secure gateway patterns.
• 
  Solid background in resilience and background-processing patterns and frameworks.
• 
  Experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Elasticsearch.
• 
  Hands-on containerised service deployment on Kubernetes with Helm.
• 
  Familiarity with Agile tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• 
  Experience with version control and CI/CD development (GitLab).
