Senior Systems Engineer

We currently have an opportunity in Adelaide for a Senior Systems Engineer with experience in military systems to join an industry leader. This is a critical role within the business that will be responsible for leading the systems engineering efforts for various projects through the product/systems life cycle.

This is an amazing opportunity to work on state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare systems in Defence whilst showcasing your engineering expertise. You will be responsible for project development, requirements definition, architecture and design definition & analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering efforts for various projects
• Ensure technical collaboration with hardware & software design functions
• Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews
• Design and develop military systems and equipment including testing, integration, installing and managing the systems and equipment
• Foster a working environment that is focused on meeting the requirements of customers, both external and internal
• Perform the integration and validation of complex system designs
• Responsible for design and development activities

Skills & Experience required:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science focused on systems engineering
• Experience with design and development of military systems and products
• Knowledge of Defence project life cycle
• Experience with requirements definition
• Demonstrated experience in Systems engineering, including in open systems architectures and secured cloud based technologies
• Meet ITAR compliancy
