Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

• 
  Research, prototype, and develop new technologies and systems.
• 
  Focus on web-based User Interface development and improve User Experience.
• 
  Collaborate with talented, cross-functional teams to continuously refine and innovate software solutions.
• 
  Participate in or lead agile story mapping and estimation sessions.
• 
  Have opportunities to lead or contribute to customer demonstrations, innovation activities, and business development initiatives.
• 
  Integrate and deploy complex systems using DevSecOps practices.
• 
  Design software solutions to tackle complex challenges.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with experience in Agile, Scrum, and related methodologies. Additionally, you should have:

• 
  A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (with software engineering experience) - desirable.
• 
  Experience with some or all of the following:
• 
  Integration with external systems/applications (REST API, integration protocols, JSON/XML)
• 
  Containerisation using Docker, Kubernetes
• 
  Customizing and integrating open-source technologies
• 
  JIRA and Confluence
• 
  CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, git)
• 
  Java and related open-source frameworks
• 
  Experience with low code is advantageous

Requirements:

• 
  Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a TSPV Clearance
• 
  Successful completion of a National Police History Check.
