Systems Engineering Manager

Network, Defence Industry needs you! Our client's range from SME's through to industry Primes supplying mission critical communications, navigation, cyber and safety systems and are rapidly expanding nationwide for the ever-growing needs and capability drive for the ADF and Defence services. We currently have several needs for experienced Senior Systems Engineers and Systems Engineering Managers with experience across the engineering life-cycle (requirements gathering, test and integration, design, verification and validation and commissioning) to help across a multitude of Defence projects right in the heart of Adelaide, South Australia. Roles: Systems Engineering Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer.

The Role:

• Enforce design, system and specifications as required
• Establishing test plans & procedures and test analysis
• Implementation, integration, verification and validation
• System definition/high level, preliminary and detailed design
• Provide requirements analysis and management with the use of software management tools such as; DOORs and/or UML.
• System configuration and integration, troubleshooting and fault identification, support in analysing technical risks/opportunities and developing contingency plans
• System installation, deployment, configuration, and integration
• Support software qualification and acceptance test activities
• Agile software methodology and leadership
• Compliance with ASDEFCON framework
• Travel to client sites within Australia

Experience Required:

• 1 - 5 year's experience as a Systems Engineer or more; 10+years Systems Engineering experience required for the manager position.
• Engineering Degree in either of the following disciplines; Electrical, Communications, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software and/or Hardware
• Experience in systems architecture, design & development and test & evaluation
• Knowledge and understanding of agile software methodologies
• Australian Citizenship essential; current or reinstatable clearance ideal
• Defence industry experience desirable
