Our team is always on the hunt for talent nationwide and currently I have a critical need for a technician or sales tech type that has hands-on experience or knowledge with timing or Inertial Navigation systems/roles to provide key support and overall systems support for a variety of military, government and private sectors. Training will be provided for sales management so if you think you have the hands-on tech knowledge and looking to take this into a lasting career, this is the job for you.
Must be an Australian Citizen and ideally have experience with critical communications systems for Defence or similar safety-critical environments.

Role: Applications Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide Pre-Sales support of the PNT and Inertial Labs portfolio of Aerospace & Defence in the Asia region.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities in the Military, Utilities, and Transportation sectors.
  • Conduct market analysis to track opportunities, competitor activities and regional market dynamics.
  • Support and enable Channel Partners to achieve/exceed the business goals and sales quota in the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute sales programs directly in cooperation with BU
  • Work with the channel ecosystem to appropriately cover the assigned products to meet and exceed company sales objectives
  • Maintain accurate sales forest using CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Attend tradeshows and host seminars to promote PNT and Inertial Labs Solutions


Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Pre-requisites & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Communications or Avionics -related technical training and experience is preferred
  • At least 6 ~ 8 years of experience in Timing or Inertial Navigation related roles
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • An understanding of sales and business development skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate with colleagues on cross-territory accounts, such as strategic and key accounts
  • Experience with developing and managing distribution partners in the Asian region
  • Use of CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com or Dynamics) experience preferred
  • Ability to travel Internationally regularly
  • Ability to hold a Secret Clearance (Australian Citizenship)
