Do you have a proven track record in Verification and Validation? Are you seeking a new role that will allow you to demonstrate your subject matter expertise on a wide range of mission critical projects within the Defence Aerospace domain?

Now is the time to apply! We are currently seeking applications from experienced V&V Engineers to join an industry leader located in Brisbane. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team that are strong contributors to the systems engineering effort for various projects throughout the product and systems lifecycle.

Applicants should have a strong understanding of V&V activities within a Defence environment as well as practical experience with Linux.


  • Conduct Verification and validation activities
  • Ensure that products and systems are efficiently developed and perform as intended
  • Conduct requirements definition and design definition
  • Creation of Test and Acceptance artefacts such as
    • Test Plans
    • Test Cases and Procedures
    • Test Reports
  • Produce engineering technical documentation
  • Contribute to the development of new design approaches
  • Plan, document, and conduct Verification & Validation activities (protocols and reports) for both new and current product designs
  • Identification of project V&V risks, such as identifying any resource deficiencies that may compromise the achievement of V&V outcomes


  • Bachelor's Systems engineering or relevant field
  • Understanding of System Engineering Verification & Validation (V&V) processes & concepts essential
  • Strong Linux knowledge and practical experience
  • Experience with networks (layer2 + layer3), ideally protocol knowledge (UDP, TCP, Multicast)
  • Familiarity with EMI standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DEF(AUST) 5168 or similar.
  • Ability to prepare and develop V&V plans
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
