Contract Duration: 1 December 2025 - 30 June 2026, with possible extensions (up to 2 x 6 months)

About the Role:
Cleared is partnering with a leading Australian government agency is seeking a motivated Associate Service Desk Analyst to provide high-quality technical support and maintenance across its desktop environment. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, managing devices and applications, and contributing to key ICT initiatives including Windows 11 migration, endpoint analytics, and cross-platform device management.

About the Role:
As an Associate Service Desk Analyst, you will work closely with the ICT team to provide end-to-end desktop support. You will support Microsoft Intune and SCCM environments, manage device configuration and compliance policies, and assist with application packaging and deployment. The role combines technical problem-solving with a focus on improving operational efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SOE Deployment & Device Provisioning: Build and deploy Windows devices using Intune and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) configurations; provision and support devices across laptops and desktops.
  • Policy Management: Develop, maintain, and enforce device configuration and compliance policies to meet organisational security standards.
  • Application Packaging & Deployment: Package and deploy software, updates, and security patches via Intune; manage deployment rings for seamless rollout.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced support for Intune-managed devices, including specialist PCs; diagnose and resolve complex ICT incidents and problems.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement ACSC Essential Eight controls; support BitLocker encryption, AppLocker/WDAC policies, and endpoint protection strategies.
  • Technical Advice & Documentation: Provide advice on hardware and software; maintain SOPs and knowledgebase articles; contribute to team objectives.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven recent experience in:
    • M365 Apps
    • Application packaging
    • PowerShell scripting
    • Level 3 troubleshooting skills
