Consultant - Communications & Policy - Defence or APS

Role

Multiple requirements for Consultants with immediate starts to join the team. Roles will be at various levels, working within a team of Senior Consultants and Lead Principal Consultants.

  • Providing strategic advice, documentation, communications, managing key stakeholders, assisting project sponsors during the approval processes across the capability lifecycle.
  • Qualifying briefs, translating information and developing documentation that can be understood by multiple parties.
  • Lead and support the development of capability proposals, business cases, ministerial briefs and cabinet submissions.
  • Communicate technical requirements into compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences
  • Dealing with senior personnel, appreciating nuances and themes and interpreting multiple concurrent documents/projects.

Required Experiences

  • Consultant or senior level APS or equivalent with experience of Communications, Policy, translating documentation and cabinet submissions
  • Ability to analyse and interpret detailed information and rhetoric
  • Experience of handling multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Defence and/or Government policy and procedures
  • Minimum NV1 Security Clearance required
