SOC Analyst

Expression of Interest - SOC Analysts (NV1 and Above)

Clearance: NV1, NV2 or TSPV

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced SOC Analysts with current NV1 or higher security clearance to support a range of upcoming federal government and defence industry engagements in Canberra.

This is an opportunity to join high‑performing cyber security teams responsible for monitoring, detecting and responding to complex security threats across mission‑critical environments.

About the Opportunities

Successful candidates may be engaged across a variety of programs, including:

• 24/7 Security Operations Centre environments
• Threat detection, triage and incident response
• Log analysis, SIEM monitoring and escalation
• Defensive cyber operations within secure government networks
• Uplift and modernisation of security tooling and processes
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary cyber and engineering teams

Required Skills and Experience

We are interested in speaking with SOC Analysts who can demonstrate:

• Active NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance
• Experience within a SOC, CSOC, CERT or similar operational security function
• Strong understanding of cyber threat landscapes, incident response and threat‑hunting methodologies
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, ArcSight etc.)
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, highly secure environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g. SANS, GCIA, GCIH, GCFE, CEH, AZ‑500, Security+)
• Experience within federal government, defence or regulated environments
• Exposure to cyber frameworks such as ASD Essential Eight, ISM or NIST
