Expression of Interest - Penetration Testers (NV1 and Above)

Location: Canberra, ACT
Clearance: NV1, NV2 or TSPV
Sectors: Federal Government and Defence Industry

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Penetration Testers with current NV1 or higher security clearance to support a pipeline of upcoming federal government and defence industry engagements in Canberra.
These opportunities involve working within secure environments to assess, test and strengthen the security posture of mission-critical systems, networks and applications.

About the Opportunities
Successful candidates may be engaged across a range of offensive security programs, including:

• Conducting network, application and cloud penetration testing
• Red teaming, adversary simulation and security assessments
• Vulnerability identification, exploitation and reporting
• Security testing aligned to ASD Essential Eight, ISM and other government frameworks
• Threat modelling, uplift recommendations and technical remediation guidance
• Collaboration with cyber, engineering and architecture teams in secure environments

Required Skills and Experience
We are interested in speaking with Penetration Testers who can demonstrate:

• Active NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance
• Hands?on experience in offensive security, penetration testing or red teaming
• Strong understanding of exploit development, attack methodologies and tooling
• Experience across Windows, Linux, cloud environments and secure networks
• Ability to produce clear, technically accurate reports and debrief stakeholders
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desired Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CREST, GXPN, GPEN or similar
• Experience working within federal government, defence or highly regulated sectors
• Familiarity with ASD Essential Eight, ISM, NIST and defensive cyber frameworks
