Job Description
The Infrastructure and Application Enterprise Security Officer is a senior cybersecurity specialist responsible for designing, implementing and governing enterprise security solutions. The role supports the protection of infrastructure, applications, data and digital assets across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The position focuses on strengthening security posture, responding to evolving threats and ensuring compliance with global security standards and frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions including infrastructure hardening, application security controls and enterprise wide protections.
• Govern enterprise security tools, architecture frameworks and security best practices.
• Enhance identity management, platform security measures and access controls.
• Develop cloud security and data protection strategies, including encryption methodologies.
• Establish and manage SOC capabilities for threat detection, incident response and mitigation.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans and risk analysis.
• Integrate security controls within DevSecOps pipelines and agile workflows.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis and recovery planning.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.
• Mentor junior security professionals and contribute to a culture of security awareness.

Education/Certifications required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications are required (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud specific security certifications).

Knowledge/Skills required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security administration, infrastructure or application security.
• Understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and network security.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk), vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus) and identity platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
• Strong grasp of risk management, incident response and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client work.
