About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Program Schedule Manager to take a lead role in managing program schedules for the SSN-AUKUS Phase 3 program. This position is critical to ensuring all program activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and reported to support senior leadership decision-making across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the program schedule, ensuring alignment with program objectives and governance frameworks
- Integrate schedules across divisions, branches, and program dependencies to support coordinated delivery
- Provide schedule input to the Project Execution Strategy, incorporating risk and interdependency considerations
- Facilitate schedule workshops and reviews with internal teams, industry partners, and external stakeholders
- Produce high-quality schedule reporting and analysis tailored for both technical and executive audiences
- Monitor schedule performance and highlight risks, issues, and opportunities for mitigation
- Mentor and support APS and ADF personnel to strengthen program scheduling capability
- Provide ad hoc schedule management support as required
Selection Criteria / Core Skills & Experience
- Experience in complex, large-scale programs: Demonstrated background managing schedules on major capital or defence programs
- Advanced scheduling expertise: Strong knowledge of program scheduling tools, techniques, and best practices for multi-team integration
- Stakeholder engagement and collaboration: Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, internal teams, industry, and multi-national partners
- Communication and reporting skills: Proven ability to produce clear, actionable schedule reporting for both technical and executive audiences
