Program Scheduler
Cleared Recruitment is supporting a leading Defence project seeking a Program Scheduler. You will work with limited guidance and be accountable for delivering outcomes through detailed planning and scheduling. Strong communication, initiative, and sound judgment are essential as you provide technical, professional, and policy advice related to complex work schedules. You will contribute to strategic planning, program, and project management, while managing significant stakeholder engagement to coordinate complex program schedules.
The role requires demonstrated experience developing and managing program schedules within the Defence environment to support complex capability procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance project schedules aligned with project objectives.
- Provide governance support and actively participate in key project workshops.
- Support broader Project Controls activities as required.
- Analyse project information and cost data to monitor and report progress, including Earned Value Performance Measurement (EVPM).
- Advise project management on best practice scheduling tools and reporting methodologies.
- Manage individual schedules and coordinate updates to the master schedule as necessary.
- All services must comply with relevant Australian and International Standards, Defence regulations, and industry best practices.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' scheduling experience within the Defence environment.
- Strong scheduling and project management skills.
- Proven experience delivering Defence projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in Open Plan Professional (OPP) Software, Version 8 or later, with strong understanding of complex Defence scheduling practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the One Defence Capability System (Capability Life Cycle).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry/domain experience.
- Recognised schedule management professional qualification.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience delivering First and Second Government Pass schedules.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in facilitating collaboration among stakeholders with shared objectives.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Awareness of emerging technologies with commitment to professional development.
Additional Qualifications (Essential):
- Advanced diploma or higher in a relevant higher education field.
- Experience authoring technical engineering/logistics documents supporting capability introduction (e.g., Installation, Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Instructions, User Handbooks).
Additional Qualifications (Highly Desirable):
- Prior Defence experience.
- Extensive experience in systems/software engineering.
- Knowledge of MILIS Maintainer Profiles (for generating records, nameplates, and standard jobs).
- Experience in codification and cataloguing.
