Overview:
The Project Support Officer will assist with day-to-day coordination, scheduling, reporting, and general project support activities. These roles are critical in supporting the achievement of key milestones, ensuring resources are aligned to priorities, and maintaining oversight of risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, monitor task performance, and help resolve delivery obstacles.
  • Support governance activities, including status reporting, financial tracking, and milestone monitoring.
  • Manage project registers (risks, issues, actions) and assist in mitigation planning and resolution tracking.
  • Contribute to alignment activities across teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience providing project support or working within a PMO environment, ideally in complex or large-scale programs.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and project reporting tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in operational, sustainment, or industrial environments is highly regarded
