Project Support Officer

Location: Canberra
Contract: 12 months + extensions
Clearance: TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting)
Start Date: September 2025 onwards

Do you want to support the delivery of high-impact ICT projects that help protect Australia?

We're seeking experienced Project Officers (SFIA levels 3-5) to join and assist in delivering secure, mission-critical ICT initiatives. You'll work closely with Project Managers and delivery partners to keep projects on track and outcomes aligned with national priorities.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate project activities including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Support procurement, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Help identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Organise meetings, workshops, and project events.
• Provide knowledge transfer and support to team members.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in project coordination or similar roles.
• Familiarity with Prince2, PMBOK, or other project methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with project tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prince2 Foundation
• AIPM CPPP Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management
