Software Engineer

Cleared ICT are supporting a defence-focused SME based in Adelaide and we're looking to speak with any Software Engineers with a baseline clearance or above.

This is a permanent opportunity and is based in Adelaide.
Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in software development, ideally within the defence, aerospace, or military sectors.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or other relevant languages for embedded systems and mission-critical applications.
• Experience with security protocols, cryptography, and secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with defense industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software and system issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud-based solutions, AI/ML integration, or autonomous systems.
• Active security clearance
