About the Role
We are look to speak with talented Low-Code Software Engineers. Whether you're just starting your career or are a seasoned professional, this opportunity allows you to work across innovative projects that streamline and automate complex workflows using low-code platforms, with a focus on Appian.
As a Low-Code Engineer, you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement custom applications that solve real-world business challenges, all while leveraging the power of low-code technologies. This is a role where creative problem-solving meets cutting-edge automation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement low-code applications using Appian.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored software solutions.
- Work across the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during application development and after deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in low-code development and implement best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers (for senior roles).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of low-code platforms, with a basic understanding of Appian.
- Problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen (due to project security requirements).
- Experience with Appian or other low-code platforms.
