Duration: 12-month contract + extensions
Clearance: NV1 (minimum) TSPV security clearance is highly advantageous
The Opportunity
We are seeking multiple Technical Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and software initiatives within a Professional Services division. This role will see you managing end-to-end project delivery, from planning and execution through to customer handover - across a variety of enterprise technology domains.
You will work closely with solution architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes that align with strategic goals, timelines, and budgetary requirements. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in major transformation programs across government and enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex ICT and software projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, architecture, and delivery streams
- Deliver innovative solutions to customer requirements using VMware SDDC and multi cloud solutions and EUC products
- Manage project governance, reporting, and risk mitigation in line with PMO standards.
- Ensure project documentation, quality controls, and deliverables meet contractual and compliance obligations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future engagement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues, and maintain transparent communication.
- Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, margin protection, and forecasting.
- Drive a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and customer focus within the delivery team.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, including 5+ years in project delivery or technical project management roles.
- Proven experience leading infrastructure, software, or cloud-based transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs with multiple dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets exceeding $1M.
- Experience working within structured enterprise or government environments.
- NV1 security clearance (or higher) required.
