IT Process Consultant | NV1 Cleared | Ballarat & Canberra | Federal Program

Cleared Recruitment is working with a global digital consultancy supporting high-impact federal programs. We're recruiting IT Process Consultants in both Ballarat and Canberra to help design and deliver service management strategy and ITSM process improvements across Defence and Government.

This full-time role sits within a high-performing team focused on driving IT service optimisation. We're looking for consultants who understand ITIL frameworks, cloud-driven operating models, and automation-and who are ready to contribute to secure, scalable solutions across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver ITSM process improvements, from roadmap to rollout

• Assess maturity and lead service optimisation aligned to federal strategy

• Support ITSM tooling implementation (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, JIRA)

• Build and maintain service catalogues, AIOps automation, and SIAM models

• Produce operating models, proposals, documentation, and governance reports

• Advise on FinOps practices, service desk transformation, and process design

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to simplify delivery

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years' experience in ITSM, service transformation, or digital operations

• Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and operational processes

• Tooling exposure to ServiceNow, BMC, Splunk, JIRA or similar

• Confident in process automation, cloud optimisation, and FinOps modelling

• Effective communicator across technical and executive stakeholders

• Relevant certs (e.g., ITIL4, COBIT, SRE, ServiceNow, AWS, Azure)

Role Requirements:

• Location: Ballarat and Canberra (1x role in each location)

• Must be available onsite 5 days per week in Ballarat

• Flexibility to support on-call duties and after-hours deployments when required

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)

• NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (essential)
